  Amazing little breakfast spot that's been run and owned at the same location by the cutest little lady for decades. Very classy and classic; she'll do the math in pen on your bill (taxes and all) right there at the table. Excuse me for being so impressed by this, but math is NOT my strong suit. Otherwise, the food is great and the portions are good. As with anything in Avalon, the prices are a little high - but it's a great start to the day, nonetheless. Only drawback is that they close.around lunchtime, so if you don't get there early, it's not going to happen!

  Good food although its really crowded. The service was great although their fountain drinks didn't taste exactly right but weren't bad. All in all a great breakfast place.

  Excellent breakfast place to eat at on the island. This honestly has to be my favorite place to eat breakfast, but it gets busy and sometimes it's hard to get a table. Get there early and start your day off right.

  Do not go here!!! The service here is horrible. Before going to Catalina we researched restaurants and reviews, the Pancake Cottage seem to have good reviews, so we decided to try it out. Do not be fooled! Got there at 10 a.m. waited about 30 minutes before being seated, not bad. We already knew what we wanted and ordered right away. After waiting a while, we checked the time and it was 11:50 a.m. Almost lunch!!! I spoke to the waitress and our order was going to be another 15- 20 minute wait. Hungry and disappointed we asked for to go cups for our orange juice. As we are paying for our orange juice they notify us that our food is almost done. By this point we are at our wits end with this place and leave. My advice, do not go here you will waste your time. There are many other restaurants on the island with better service and nicer people.
